1 .Advantages of amorphous silicon solar
cell:
1. Low manufacturing cost:

Amorphous silicon thin film solar cells
only need a few microns of semi-conducting materials but the
crystalline silicon solar cells need 200-300 microns of
semi-conducting materials, amorphous silicon thin film solar
cells just consume about 1/100,it save a lot of silicon
materials.

PIN junction of amorphous silicon thin film
solar cells is made in the 200℃,it’s much lower than the
crystalline silicon solar cells which is made under 800℃~1000℃
high temperature and save a lot of energy.

We apply integrated technology and the
cells are completed during production ,the production
technology is simple and it can realize mass production which
improves efficiency heavily.

The area of each cell can be made as
0.28~5.7㎡,compared to the crystalline silicon solar cell, its
area is under 0.04㎡,which is easier to make and assemble.
2. Good scattered light function (good
dim light function)
A lot of tests indicate the amount of electrical energy of
amorphous silicon solar cells are 8-10% more than crystalline
silicon solar cells at the same power each year. The main
reason is that crystalline silicon solar cell doesn’t have
electricity generation when the light is dim. However,
amorphous silicon solar cells still generate electricity.
3. It is less influenced by temperature and environmental
change, its voltage and power reduce less than crystalline
silicon solar cell when the temperature increases.
4. It can combine with the roof of building and glass curtain
wall which becomes BIPV ,it can not only generate electricity
,but also save architecture materials that it’s environment
friendly. However, transfer efficiency of amorphous silicon
solar cell is lower than crystalline silicon solar cell which
has been developed for 20 years. With the development of
amorphous silicon solar cell, its transfer efficiency will be
improved and it will become the main stream of new energy
market.
